Pension Litigation

Pension Litigation is a growing area of law which requires specialized knowledge. Whether your pension plan is large or small, our team can provide you with the advice you need in a timely and professional manner. Our lawyers provide Class Action services or act on individual claims depending on the circumstances and your needs.

Experience

Our team has provided advice regarding pension issues, including pension surpluses, breach of trust, the legality of contribution holidays and the overall administration of pension plans. We have acted for groups and individuals in assessing and asserting their rights with respect to their employer’s pension plan. Most recently, our team successfully negotiated an agreement on behalf of representative former employees of Royal Trust which, if ratified by the courts and regulators, is estimated to be worth approximately $52 million for our clients.
