About

John is a partner with Cohen Highley. He is a seasoned litigator who has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario.

John has a diverse civil litigation practice which includes medical malpractice lawsuits, estate litigation, personal injury, commercial and insurance litigation, and professional regulation matters. John has also represented his clients on appeals in the Court of Appeal for Ontario and the Divisional Court.

John was the recipient of numerous awards in law school before being called to the bar in 2006, and bringing his analytical focus into practice for his clients.

John was born in Burlington, and has now lived in the London area for 20 years. When not practicing law, John’s focus is on being dedicated parent to his three children.

Since 2020 John has been pleased to serve the London legal community as a Trustee of the Middlesex Law Association.

Education & Experience

 John holds a history degree from Carleton University (graduated with highest honours) and law degree from Western University (Dean’s Honour List, top 10% of his class).
