Travis practices civil litigation, with an emphasis on commercial and estate litigation, and family law. At Osgoode Hall Law School, Travis received the Alexander David McKenzie scholarship for contributions to Ontario’s public life, and the Charles Edward Woodrow and McMillan LLP awards for academic excellence. He completed the Business Law Intensive program during his third year, which included a three-month internship with in-house counsel at an international real estate investment firm. Travis served for two of his three years at Osgoode as Editor-in-Chief of Obiter Dicta, the school’s newspaper.
Before joining Cohen Highley as a summer student in 2013, Travis worked in the federal public service throughout his studies, including for Service Canada, the Ministry of Labour, Aboriginal Affairs and Northern Development Canada, and the House of Commons. He is also proud to have served in Veterans Affairs Canada’s student guide program in 2010 and 2012, working in France at the Vimy Ridge and Beaumont-Hamel National Historic Sites.
A native of St. Thomas, Ontario, Travis can be found at the curling rink when the days are short, and struggling on the golf course when they are long.

Education & ExperienceTravis received his Juris Doctor from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2014, and was called to the Bar of Ontario in 2015. Travis also graduated magna cum laude with an Honours Bachelor of Social Sciences degree from the University of Ottawa in 2011.
