Cohen Highley is very proud to announce that Paul Cappa has been awarded the Law Society of Ontario’s William J. Simpson Distinguished Paralegal Award. This recognition is provided to a licensed paralegal who demonstrates outstanding professional achievement and contributes to the development of the profession; is devoted to professional duties; adheres to best practices and mentoring of others; has a history of community service and exhibits personal character that brings credit to the paralegal profession.
For those of you who don’t know Paul personally, Paul provides legal services exclusively to landlords and specifically, with respect to Applications for Rent Increases Above the Guideline and Applications to Vary the Amount of a Rent Reduction. Paul has worked at Cohen Highley LLP since 1990 and became a licensed paralegal in 2008. Paul became a partner at Cohen Highley LLP in 2012. It has been a privilege and a pleasure for all of us here at Cohen Highley to have the opportunity to work with Paul and we are proud that he has been recognized at the highest professional level by the Law Society of Ontario.
