Rawan Hussein

Rawan is an associate practicing corporate/commercial law at our Kitchener office. Rawan works with private corporations of all sizes and particularly enjoys assisting startups with their legal needs. She regularly assists clients with the incorporation and organization of their corporations, structuring their startups, drafting business contracts, creating employee stock option plans, and drafting and negotiating shareholder agreements. Rawan also assists clients in contractual and shareholder disputes.

Education & Experience

 Rawan received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Waterloo in 2018. She has an academic background in Business and Legal Studies from the University of Waterloo and has worked in research administration and ethics. Rawan obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor, and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2021. During her time in Windsor, she volunteered at the Community Legal Aid Clinic and was a member of a legal research team.

Rawan co-founded the Justice Skills Workshop Series (JSWS) and was an active member of the Women of Color Legal Alliance of Windsor (WOCLAW) group at Windsor Law.

Rawan is fluent in both English and Arabic.
