Shereen J. Goncalves

LAWYER

Shereen is a lawyer in the Multi-Residential Housing Group who represents affordable housing providers, non-profit housing organizations, developers, and property managers. She is passionate about helping clients create much-needed housing in and around her hometown of London, and finds joy in watching clients’ plans transform into doors opening for new residents.

Shereen obtained her Juris Doctor from Windsor Law in 2023. During law school, she worked with the Windsor Law Centre for Cities, where she developed her passion for municipal law and land use planning through research assistant work and experiential learning clinics.

Clients value Shereen’s compassionate approach to law, her commitment to making complex processes less intimidating, and her ability to truly listen. Her proudest achievements include helping numerous non-profit housing clients secure property tax exemptions, freeing up vital resources for their residents. Shereen is also a member of the Board of Directors for the London Affordable Housing Foundation.

When she’s not advocating for clients, you can find Shereen enjoying time with her family, travelling (especially on cousins’ trips!), taking long walks, reading, or indulging in her love for hunting down the perfect home goods – the kind that make everyday living a little more delightful.
