Cohen Highley LLP is seeking an experienced Paralegal to join our Multi-Residential Housing Department. This position will fill an upcoming vacancy. Candidates must have strong employment references and a keen interest in growing their practice.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated experience preparing applications, evidence, and supporting documentation for proceedings before the Landlord and Tenant Board (LTB).
• Proven experience representing clients and attending hearings before the Landlord and Tenant Board.
• Licensed Paralegal in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
• Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act, 2006 and Landlord and Tenant Board processes and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, tenants, landlords, and tribunal officials.
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
