Cohen Highley LLP is currently recruiting an IT Support Technician.
This position will be based out of our Head Office (Downtown London) with travel to all other Cohen Highley locations from time to time. This is a hybrid work arrangement with 3 days in-office/2 days work from home.
The IT Support Service Desk is expected to be staffed between the hours of 8:00AM and 6:00 PM Monday to Friday. Weekend and Holiday IT support coverage is facilitated via a rotating schedule.
Job Overview:
The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing comprehensive technical support and assistance to the firm’s employees. This role involves managing and resolving IT-related issues, ensuring the smooth operation of the firm’s IT infrastructure, and contributing to various IT projects. The IT Support Technician will work closely with the IT Manager to deliver high-quality IT services and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshooting daily issues from Firm members requiring assistance
- Proactively reviewing and assigning IT support tickets in JIRA ServiceDesk
- Research, review and contribute tech notes in the IT Knowledge base
- Provide remote and desk-side assistance as required
- Installation and repair of various software applications
- Installation, repair or replacement of hardware and other electronic office equipment
- On-premises and virtual meeting room setups
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an IT related University or College program
- 3-5 years working experience in the Information Technology industry
- Working knowledge of:
- Windows 11 Desktop management services
- Microsoft Office and M365 suite of services
- Adobe Acrobat
- DocuSign
- VolP Telephony fundamentals
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong proactive problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals are considered an asset.
