Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the lawyer’s calendar, schedule client meetings, court appearances, and other appointments.
  • Maintain and organize client files (physical and digital), ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
  • Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and other third parties via phone, email, and correspondence.
  • Track and manage deadlines, court dates, and bring-forward system for timely follow-ups.
  • Assist in the preparation of correspondence
  • Open and close files, ensuring compliance with firm procedures and legal standards.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of a Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma/certificate from a recognized institution.
  • 2-4 years of experience in family law or a similar legal environment
  • Knowledge of family law procedures, forms, and filing processes
  • Exceptional administrative and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:
