Aesha Patel

About

Aesha practices in the real estate, corporate/commercial, and estate planning department at our Kitchener office. She completed her undergraduate from the University of Toronto and obtained her Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor. She was called to the bar in 2021. She subsequently completed her articling and worked as an associate in a criminal defence law firm in Toronto. Prior to joining Cohen Highley, Aesha was an associate at a real estate firm in Toronto.

Aesha is fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi.

Education & Experience

 Aesha completed her undergraduate in Criminology and Socio-Legal Studies from the University of Toronto. While studying law at the University of Windsor, she participated in the Zuber Moot. Aesha also interned with Legal Aid Ontario and assisted with providing legal assistance to members of the community belonging to a low-income status. During law school, Aesha further participated in an externship program where she worked under the direct supervision of the Honorable Justice Dean. Aesha is also a member of the South Asian Bar Association.

Outside Interests

 Outside of the office, Aesha’s interests include painting, travelling, and spending time with her family and friends.
