Benjamin Charlebois
LAWYER
Ben is a litigator with the Multi-Residential Housing Group, where he focuses primarily on giving strategic advice to housing providers, property managers, and condominium corporations, as well as assisting with commercial leasing disputes. Ben approaches challenges with creativity and persistence and is constantly in search of ways to optimize outcomes for his clients.
Outside of the office, Ben is an avid camper, concertgoer, and long-suffering fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Ben is passionate about community involvement, which has included volunteering with local non-profits like Young London and the West London Minor Hockey Association, pro bono work as a researcher for the London Health & Homelessness Project, and many rewarding years as a minor hockey coach.
Ben obtained an Honours Specialization in Political Science and a Diploma in Professional Communications from Western University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Governance, Leadership and Ethics from Huron University College.
Prior to law school, Ben gained invaluable experience working in a WSIB law firm, and later in the Government of Ontario for a Premier and two Cabinet Ministers, including as a political advisor to the Attorney General.
He obtained his law degree from Western Law, where he focused on litigation and contractual disputes. During law school, Ben was a finalist in the Arnup Cup Advocacy Competition and was awarded Best Examination at the national Sopinka Cup Advocacy Competition. Ben was called to the Ontario Bar in 2024.
